  1. Girl I’m with you on the rustic cottage. Far away but not tooooo far. ;)

Thanks for giving some love to the series! SO HAPPY to have you a part of it. You’re going to rock Profound Humility!

  2. I tried to comment here yesterday but WP thwarted me. Trying again… I will not be defeated, WP!!

I’m looking forward to your post on humility. And not just any humility but profound humility. Which, of course, is a perfect topic for mothers of small children. :)

About the lipstick. I am just about to make a batch of my own make-up for the first time. My skin has become increasingly intolerant of commercial brands and Etsy stuff is breaking my bank. I’m starting with foundation, bronzer and blush. And since I’ll already have the color tints, I might as well go for some lip color. I gave my husband the whole money-saving spiel but he’s not convinced… yet. Must be able to kiss babies. I’ll let you know how it goes.

    1. Oh. My. Goodness… making your own foundation?! You da superwoman. And thanks for persevering through the comment limbo. It all drives me crazy. I’ve learned to copy my comment before trying to post it, cause… it. fail. so. many. time.

  3. The lipstick issue has plagued me before as well. I haven’t tried it yet, but…..beets! I’ve got a few different DIY lip stains pinned from Pinterest, and they use beets (or Koolaid, but I’m going with beets). You only get one color out of it, but as my formerly white tea towels can attest, that color is bright, pretty, and permanent! Plus, it won’t rub off onto baby faces. :)
