  1. Thanks so much for your posts. I am laying in bed next to my 4 month old while my 4 and 2 year old boys are attempting to drag me out of bed and reading your blog posts make me smile. I try maintain some fashion sense in my mommy ness and coffee does always get picked over water. (Got a camelback bottle for the same reason you did). I am half French, grew up speaking it! In any event, I agree, those mommy moment trips to target are often spent wanting to buy things for the kids instead of ourselves and are strangely empty even though we think its what we need. :-) ill be sure to keep following your blog! A la prochaine!

  2. I’d say with #1 and #3, there’s something to be said for taking some time for yourself and enjoying that. I know I need a couple hours or so per week where I can sit and read and not have to think about Daniel.

    1. I agree with taking time for myself, for sure. But I find when I am frantically grasping at it, that’s when I need to surrender and ask God to give me that time. For me it’s all about control. Even when I am, say, being given an hour by myself, if I can hear the children in the other room, even knowing my husband is in there with them, I feel an anxious pull to go in and make sure everything is okay as soon as I hear a bellow or whine. It is a prideful issue! I gotta get over it!

  3. This is a great list. I’m holding back laughter so I don’t wake the hubby…I think he heard me…snort a few times though through my hands though…oops. hahahahahaha
